Mary Agnes Booth

Mary Donnelly Booth, age 94, formerly of 400 Sunset Drive, Johnson City, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2006 at NHC following a long illness. Born on January 10, 1912, in Mountain City, Mrs. Booth was the daughter of the late Major, James Donnelly and the late Rose Brogan Donnelly. Mrs. Booth was preceded in death by her husband William Howard Booth and four brothers. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Booth was a lifelong and devout Roman Catholic, a parishioner of St. Mary?s Catholic Church. She is survived by two sons, William H. Booth, Jr. and his wife Linda and James M. Booth, all of Johnson City; grandchildren, Victoria Tuck and her husband Lee, Donna Ann Grimsley and her husband John and Marie Elena Booth; five great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday from St. Mary?s Catholic Church. Ftr. Gerard Finucane will be the celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass. Burial services will follow in Forrest Hills Memorial Gardens in Abingdon, Virginia.
