Mary Evelyn Cloyd

Mary Evelyn Webb Cloyd, age 91, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 in Johnson City Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Webb Fish and the step daughter of the late Alvin Fish. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wayne Cloyd in 1997. Mary loved to cook and make candy for friends and family. Mary was a member of Westside Christian Church in Jonesborough. She is survived by: two sons, Winfred Wayne (Jean), of Jonesborough and Phillip Alvin 'Buzz'? Cloyd, of the home; two grandsons, Alvin Wayne Cloyd (Kristin), of Little River, SC and Robert Cloyd, of Jonesborough; step daughter, Phyllis Cloyd Crain, of Jonesborough; step granddaughter, Kimberly Vance, of Jonesborough; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family wishes to thank the following for their love and care: Dr. Michael Grosserode, Dr. Jeff Farrow, Dr. Welch, Dr. Mark Chang, Dr. Larry Hudson, Mountain States Rehabilitation, and the pulmonary and cardiac programs at Rehab Plus. The Cloyd family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 6:30 pm Wednesday in the South Chapel. Ronald Goss, Minister, will officiate. The committal service is scheduled for 11 AM Thursday in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Jonesborough. Minister, family, and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery for those services.
