Mary Jane Neal

Mary Jane Neal, 83, of Johnson City, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the Appalachian Christian Village. She was a native of Jonesborough, daughter of the late John C. and Mary Evelyn Lafollette Wright. Mary Jane was a seamstress and homemaker. She was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harold Neal in June of this year; brothers and sisters, Crawford Wright, John R. Wright, Cecil Wright, Pearl Wright, Helen Wright, Josephine Day and Jesse May Watts. Survivors include: her son and daughter-in-law, Timothy H. and Allyson Neal of Chattanooga; Matthew and Alexandra Neal, two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, July 8, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Roselawn Memory Gardens under the direction of Rev. Lenny Smith. The family will receive friends at Morris '? Baker Funeral Home from 12:30 pm until 1:30 then leave in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
