Maybelle B. Hagy

Maybelle B. Hagy, 88, formerly of 1920 Club Drive, Johnson City, died Thursday, March 31, 2005 in the Life Care Center of Gray,Gray,Tn. Mrs. Hagy was a native of Johnson City, lived in Maryland from1955 to 1990 ,then returned to her native Johnson City. She resided at 1042 Middlesex Road, Baltimore,MD for 34 years. She was a daughter of the late Jack and Addie Woodby Bailey. Mrs. Hagy was a dietician in the Baltimore County School System and retired with 30 years of service. Mrs. Hagy is preceded in death by: her husband, Cleveland Leighton Hagy, Sr in 1989, her parents, a daughter, Pat Jennings; a son, Richard L. Hagy; a brother, Bill Bailey; three sisters, Dolly Archer , Polly Honeycutt and Violet Bailey. Survivors include: two daughters and son-in-law, Rose and James Street and Pricilla White, all of Johnson City; three sons and daughter-in-law, Cleveland L. Hagy, Jr. of Johnson City, Ancil G. Hagy and wife Crystal of Alpharetta, GA, Stephen Wayne Hagy of Baltimore, MD; one step-daughter and husband, Wanda and Ray E. Williams, Mountain Home, NC; one sister, Lucille Carver of Johnson City; one brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Sue Bailey of Jonesborough; several nieces and nephews; a special niece, Ruth Martin of Limestone, TN. Thirteen grandchildren , one step-grandaughter, and seventeen great grandchildren also survive. A graveside service for Maybelle B. Hagy will be conducted at 12 noon Monday, April 4, 2005 in the Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens in Baltimore, Maryland. The family will receive friends in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home on Saturday from 6 to 8 PM.
