Mazie Lee Justice

February 24, 1915 — April 30, 2008

Mazie Lee Justice, 93, of 233 Boonesboro Road, Gray, Tennessee, died April 30, 2008 at the Holston Valley Hospital. She was a native of Clyde, North Carolina, daughter of the late Vincent Wiley and Ethel James Davis. Mazie was a supervisor for the Poway Cafeteria and a member of the Highland Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Justice in 1997 and two brothers, Joe and Jack Davis. Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Paul Bonnet of Gray; five sisters, Pauline Medford of Clyde, NC, Valarie Ferguson of Whitter, NC, Lucile Brooks of Candler, NC, Hilda Wynn, Palmyra, Pennsylvania and Margaret Tomkins of Clyde, NC; two brothers, William 'Bill'? Davis of Clyde, NC and James Davis of Maggie Valley, NC; three grandchildred, James Bonnet, Thomas Bonnet and Kathryn Bauchle; six great grandchildren, Daniel Bonnet, Kendra Bonnet, Kyle Bonnet, Sarah Bonnet, Brianna Bauchle and Paige Bauchle; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Crawford/Ray Funeral Home in Canton, North Carolina, under the direction of Rev. Wayne White and Rev. Buddy Jones. A committal service will be conducted in the Crawford/Ray Memory Gardens following the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home on Friday, May 2, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the Family request that memorials be made to the Highland Baptist Church, 300 Highland Church Road, Johnson City Tn. 37615 or Samaritans Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, North Carolina 28607.
