Michael Robert Hill

Michael Robert 'Mountain Man' Hill, 50, of 713 Wilson Avenue, Johnson City, died Friday, October 28, 2005 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Detroit, MI but had lived in Johnson City most of his life. He was a son of Bobby Gordon and Bernadine Paquette Hill of Johnson City. Mr. Hill was a member of Berea Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Survivors in addition to his parents include; his wife, Wanda Jean Hill; one son, Michael Hill, Jr. of Johnson City; one daughter, Tanita Hill of Johnson City; one step son, Darrell Wayne Harrell of Elizabethton; one step daughter, Patty Stanley of Johnson City; three sisters, Melody Peters of Jonesborough, Marcie Littleton of Johnson City and Monica Clawson of Newland, NC; one brother, Mark Hill of Johnson City; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday from the Barnett Cemetery. Rev. Steve Bennett will officiate. The family will receive friends at the residence of his parents, 2190 Dry Creek Road, Johnson City from now until the time of the graveside service.
