Mildred W. Widener

Mildred W. Widener, 88, of 2617 Louise Street, Johnson City, died Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Washington County, Virginia and had lived in Johnson City since, 1987. Mildred was a daughter of the late Tom and Elzina Edmondson Worley. She was a farmer and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray K. Widener and four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her niece, Barbara Williams of the home; a sister, Mabel Colvin of Johnson City and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Damascus, Virginia under the direction of Bro. Warren Wilson. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
