Myra Netherland Mccall

Myra Netherland McCall, 83, of 141 Fox Road, Mars Hill, NC passed away Monday, November 06, 2006 at the Brian Center in Weaverville, NC. She was a native of Bristol, TN and lived in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. for 27 years following her retirement from the Federal Government. Mrs. McCall was an Accountant for the U. S. Government. She was a daughter of the late William McKewen Netherland, Jr. and Cornelia Lewis Netherland. She was also preceded in death by one brother, William McKewen Netherland, III. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Capt. Deward H. McCall; one sister, Mary Alice Gobble of Johnson City and five nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday from the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Rev. Steven Harmon will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
