Norman Shelton Davis

Norman Shelton Davis, 73, of Johnson City, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Carter County, son of the late Claude Lewis and Stella Mae Lyons Davis. Norman was a retired truck driver and member of the Teamsters Union #549. He was an avid poker player, bowler and coached little league for many years and helped form the Continental Little League. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter Shannon Diane Davis and a brother, Wendell Davis. Survivors include: his wife, Tammy R. Davis of the home; three sons, Scotty Allen Davis and his wife Barbara of Santa Monica, CA, Michael Dean Davis and Jeffrey Lee Davis both of Johnson City; a daughter, Kimberly D. Konstantopoulos and her husband David of Johnson City; a sister, Shelby J. McKinney of Johnson City; six grandchildren; a great grandson; several nieces and nephews. There will be private memorial service held at a later date.
