Orville P Nickles

Orville Porter Lee Nickles, age 62, of Johnson City, died Sunday, June 9, 2019 in Johnson City.
He was born on February 27, 1957 to the late Carl Allen Jr and Myrtle Pruchett.
Orville was known for his generous and caring heart. He helped everybody and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Sutphin; and brothers, Elmer Nickles and Issac “Buck” Nickles.
Orville is survived by a sister, Brenda Nickles; brother, Roger (and wife, Penny) Nickles; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; his close friend, Joseph Barlow; and his beloved dog, Winnie.
The family of Orville will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Washington County Memory Gardens in Johnson City. Meet at the cemetery by 2:20 p.m.
