Patsy Ruth Huffine

Patsy Ruth Huffine, 80, of Jonesborough, died Monday, April 19, 2010 at Asbury Place in Johnson City. She was a native of Washington County, daughter of the late Fred and Beulah Campbell Hughes. Patsy was an inspector in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry as an employee of Baxter Pharmaseal, having retired in 1989. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Huffine in 1960 and a brother, John 'Bud'? Hughes. Survivors include: her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Hosea Bailey of Jonesborough; twin grandsons, Chad and Brad Bailey of Jonesborough; a sister, Peggy Bennett and her husband Lee also of Jonesborough; four nieces, Debbie Ward of Jonesborough, Kim and Emily Brown both of Johnson City and Shannon Ward of Jonesborough; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Brenda Blankenship and Karen White. Patsys family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home, on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. A funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. under the direction of Rev. Scott Green. Special music by: Dwight Harrell, soloist and Brad Bailey, trumpet. A committal service will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be: Chad and Brad Bailey, Hosea Bailey, Isaiah Bailey, Richard Knode, Lee Bennett and Bobby Brown. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 10:40 a.m. for a procession to the cemetery.
