Phillip Brion Webb

Mr. Phillip Brion Webb, age 55, of Gray, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 16, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Webb was a native of Kingston, TN, but lived in the Gray area for the last 35 years. He was the son of the late Paul Queener Webb and Cora Aileen Webb. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Robert Paul Webb. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Johnson City. Mr. Webb graduated in 1980 from East Tennessee State College with a BS in Dental Technology. In 1985, he started his first business, Intech Associates, a computer sales and service business. From 1993 until the present, he and his wife Kathy have owned and operated Twin Creeks Log Home Supply, a specialty lumber and hardware supply company in Gray. Phil was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed traveling, golf and photography. His most prized possession was his family, especially his wife Kathy with whom he was inseparable. Survivors include: his loving wife of thirty-six years, Kathy Webb of the home; one son, Phillip B. Webb, II and his wife Staci Lewis Webb of Gray; one daughter, Annie Webb Ellis and her husband Jarrett Ellis of Kingsport; one brother, David Webb and his wife Janice Webb of Kingston, TN; four grandchildren, Isabella and Sophia Webb, and Avery and Reese Ellis; mother-in-law, Martha Childs of Kingston, TN; one aunt, Betty Hatmaker of Jacksboro, TN; several brothers and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM with a memorial service to follow for Mr. Webb at 2 PM Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Central Baptist Church in Johnson City. Dr. Ron Murray will officiate. The family will have the graveside service at 11:00 AM Monday, August 20, at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM Monday to go in procession to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
