Randall ?Randy' K. Odom, 58, Johnson City, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018, due to a lengthy illness. Randy was born in Johnson City to the late Robert Lee and Gladys Wampler Odom. He retired from the postal service after 26 years and attended Crossroads Church in Greeneville. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by: one brother, Bob Odom; and his Aunt Jessie and Uncle Frank Vines. Survivors include: his wife, Debbie Odom; two children, Becky Thompson and her husband David and Erika Smith; three grandchildren, Ryan Thompson, Austin Smith and Cameron Hawk; one sister-in-law, Deborah Odom; niece and nephew, Dustin and Deanna Odom; special family members, Ruth Davis and Kim Grindstaff; special buddy, Juley Nieminski; and special friend, Raymond Dowell. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 7 PM Friday, December 28, 2018, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, Randy would have appreciated donations be made to Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter, 3411 N. Roan St., Johnson City, 37601 or The Humane Society of Washington County, 2101 W. Walnut St., Johnson City, 37604.
