Richard Clarke Way

Richard Clarke Way, 44, 3211-1 McKinley Road, died Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Way was a native of Winfield, IL and had lived in Johnson City for the majority of his life.

He was a son of the late Donald and Sandra Ballou Way.

Mr. Way was a drywall finisher. He was a Johnson City Major League Baseball Coach.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Walls Way, one son, Jordan Way, of the home, three sisters, Linda DeMoss and her husband, Scott, Maryland, Debbie Paulding and her husband, Eric, Georgia and Donna Hoilman and her husband, Jesse, Telford and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mr. Way will be conducted at 8 PM Wednesday, March 3, 2008 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Kevin Trimble will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Thursday at Washington County Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:30 PM and travel in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jesse Hoilman, Herman Hagie, Joe Storm, James Blevins, Jeff Dennison and Steve Franklin. Honorary pallbearers will be the Johnson City Major League fall baseball coaches and the Franklin Drywall employees. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
