Robert Carver

Robert Carver, 69, 111 Clark Drive, Johnson City died Friday, May 20, 2005 in the NHC Healthcare in Johnson City. Mr. Carver was a native and lifelong resident of Carter County and a son of the late J.C. and Hazel Simpson Carver. He was a retired employee of Burlington Industries. Mr. Carver was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by : his parents and his wife Earlene Cable Carver in 1998. Survivors include; a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Wes Barnett of Piney Flats; two grandsons, Wes Barnett, Jr. and Chad Barnett, both of Piney Flats. Several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside funeral service for Robert Carver will be conducted at 1:30 PM Monday in the Happy Valley Memorial Park. Rev. Mark Street will officiate. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 1:25 PM Monday. Active pallbearers will be Wes Barnett, Jr, Chad Barnett, Allen Barnett, Raymond Markland, Bobby Dugger and Harley Gillin.
