Robert Ivan Conley

Robert Ivan Conley, 68, of Johnson City passed away, Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Johnson City Medical Center.A native of Johnson City, Mr. Conley was the son of the late Robert and Ivah Roberson Conley. Mr. Conley attended East Tennessee State University and served 3 years in the United States Army. He retired from Tennessee Eastman Company after 331/2 years. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. He was an avid lover of flying and was a licensed commercial pilot.Mr. Conley is survived by his uncle William E. Roberson and wife Mary Nelle of Jonesborough and special cousin Doris Phillips and her husband, Lloyd, of Charlotte, NC and several other cousins. Visitation is from 12-2 pm Wednesday, February 21, 2007, with the service at 2:00 pm in the Morris Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Burial will follow in Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers are: John Abbott, Ted Beach, G.W. Hammonds, Jim Harris, Hal Jones, Mike Livingston, Garland Osborne, Craig Roberson and Ronnie Ward.
