Robert Michael Nachman

Robert Michael Nachman, 51, of 4119 Sanford Drive, Johnson City died Tuesday , March 17, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Nachman was a native of Johnson City, had lived in Nashville, TN for ten years and returned to Johnson City to reside. He was a graduate of Science Hill High School in 1975 and was a long distance truck driver. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Nachman was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Pearl Silver Rothbart and his paternal grandparents, Marcus and Winifred Nachman. Survivors include: one daughter, Lauren Nachman of Bristol, TN; his mother, Harriet Rothbart Nachman Luster of Johnson City; his father, William B. Nachman of Banner Elk, NC; two brothers, Marc and wife Patty Jo Nachman of Kingsport, and Alan D. Nachman of Virginia Beach, VA; one nephew, Zachary Nachman of Kingsport; one niece, Sophia Nachman of Salisbury, NC; a special friend, Carolyn Brotherton of Johnson City; and his special pet dog,'? Skippy'?. A graveside funeral service for Robert Michael Nachman will be conducted at 11 AM Friday, March 20, 2009 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Dr. Charles Fish will officiate. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:55 AM Friday for the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Johnson City Animal Shelter, 525 Sells Avenue, Johnson City, TN 37604
