Robert Steven Stamey

Robert Stamey, 70, Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness.

Robert was born in Decatur, GA to the late George and Mary Stamey.

Robert was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed devotional time every day. He was an elementary school teacher and taught World History for 30 years. Following his retirement, he was a substitute teacher and mentor to many. He enjoyed collecting holiday cards and stamps and sharing with those he loved.

Survivors include: his wife, Judy Stamey; two sisters, Marian Rose and Emily Dockery; one brother, Clifford Barnes; and special friends, Kristal, Tommy and Katie.
