Robert Wayne 'Robbie' Leonard, III, 18, 148 Maden Drive, Gray, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 25, 2005. Robbie was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. He was a 2004 graduate of Daniel Boone High School and attended Northeast State Technical Community College. He was an apprentice pipefitter with Schoffner International of Newport, TN. Mr. Leonard attended the Fountain Of Life Church. The maternal survivors include: his mother, Brenda S. Oliver Leonard, of the home; A Sister, Madisson Kayla Barnes, of the home; maternal grandparents, Larry and Ruth Broyles, of Elizabethton, and Bill and Catherine Oliver, of Unicoi; uncles and aunts, Zack and Kimberly Lett, of Elizabethton, Bill and Tammy Oliver, of Greeneville, Tn; two cousins, Brittany Cutshall, of Elizabethton, and Alyssa Oliver, of Greeneville, Tn. The paternal survivors include: his father and stepmother, Wayne Leonard Jr. and Kenda Leonard, of Kingsport; a step brother, Kerry Ray Gentry, of Johnson City; paternal grandparents, Robert Wayne Leonard Sr. and wife, Betty Leonard, of Johnson City; aunts and uncles, Robin and Jackie Harr, of Kingsport, Teresa Cobb, of Jonesborough, Tina and Marvin Rosenbaum, of Johnson City, Angie and Mike Love, of Kingsport, Becky and Greg Hall, of Jonesborough; cousins, Jeremy Edwards, of Jonesborough, Lee Harr, of Mountain City, Nickie Harr Smith, of Virginia, Randall Love, of Kingsport, Taylor Cobb, of Jonesborough, Kody Hall, also of Jonesborough, and Travis Rosenbalm, of Johnson City. A memorial service for Robert Wayne 'Robbie' Leonard, III will be conducted at 2 PM Friday, July 1, 2005, in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Chaplain Matthew Barber and Rev. Richie Honeycutt will officiate. Entombment of the cremains will follow in the Chapel of Love at Washington County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 5 to 8 PM Thursday evening. Honorary pallbearers will be Byron Taylor, Seth Glaur, Frank James Carter, Billy Oliver, Wes Dalton, Brandon Myers, Zack Lett, Jackie Harr, Marvin Rosenbaum, Mike Edwards, Jeremy Edwards and Timothy Rowland. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 318, Memphis, TN 38101.
