Roger Allan Phipps

Roger Allan Phipps, 70, of Erwin, died Sunday, June 7, 2020 at his residence. He was a native of Elizabethton, son of the late Johnnie and Blanche Whitehead Phipps.

Roger was a retired groundskeeper. He spent his time golfing and loved watching sporting events. He was of Methodist faith.

Those left to cherish Roger’s memory are, his wife, Frances Adams Phipps; a daughter, April Michelle Grindstaff; a brother and his wife, Charles and Teresa Phipps.

A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Washington County Memory Gardens at 11:00 am. Military honors will be accorded by the Boone Dam VFW.
