Shirley Janett Calloway

Shirley Janett Calloway, age 64, of Johnson City, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Calloway was born in Washington County, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Robert Virgil 'Bud'? Greene and Amanda Ellen Pierce Greene. She was a homemaker and a member of the Y-Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Calloway was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Calloway, and one brother, Earl Greene. She is survived by three daughters, Sarah Ellen Hutchins and husband David, Rebecca Lynn Edwards, and Rachel Janett Calloway, all of Johnson City, TN; three grandchildren, Santana Hutchins, Andrew Hutchins, and John Edwards; three brothers, Kenneth Greene and wife Barbara, of Jonesborough, TN, Edward Greene and wife Judy, of Johnson City, TN, and Robert Greene and wife Carol, of Johnson City, TN; one sister-in-law, Janice Greene, of Johnson City, TN; and several uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, February 25, 2011 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel with Rev. Glen Hoilman, Rev. Dexter Hoilman, and Rev. Bill Whitlock officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Hutchins, Andrew Hutchins, John Edwards, Bill Whitlock, Travis Greene, and Johnny Edwards. The family would like to say a special thanks to all those that prayed and reached out to Mrs. Calloway.
