Stanley Honeycutt

Stanley Honeycutt, 59, 2507 Park Ave., Johnson City, died Sunday, April 26, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Honeycutt was a Unicoi County native and had lived most of his life in Johnson City. He was a son of the late Fred and Maude Peterson Honeycutt and was also preceded in death by one brother, J.E. Honeycutt and two sisters, Neil Greene and Wanda Watson. Mr. Honeycutt was a former self-employed carpenter. He attended the Y Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Ronnie A. Honeycutt, Johnson City and one daughter, Tammy Honeycutt Griffith, WVA; three brothers, Mike Honeycutt, Larry Honeycutt and Fred 'Junior'? Honeycutt all of Johnson City; five sisters, Zella Simpson, Irene Shell, Lorene Babb and Norma McInturff all of Johnson City and Earlene McClellan, Ohio; one grandson, Cody Honeycutt and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 8 PM Friday, May 1, 2009 at Faith Free Will Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM at the church.
