Susan Marie Carver

Susan Marie Carver, 72, of Johnson City, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Christian Care Center of Johnson City. Mrs. Carver was a native a Washington County. She was a daughter of the late John and Mary Franklin Presley. Survivors include one daughter, Anna Carver Biggs of Johnson City; two sons, Arthur Burrels of Johnson City and Steve Carver of Pennsylvania; sisters, Mary Louvenia Davis of Johnson City and Doris Blankenship of Knoxville; brother, John Curtis Presley of Johnson City; special niece, Diane Verble of Jonesborough; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family of Susan Marie Carver will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm Thursday, May 12, 2016 in the Morris-Baker Dogwood Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 8 pm Thursday under the direction of Pastor Dallas Gregg. A committal service is scheduled for 1 pm Friday, May 13, 2016 in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be selected from the family. Family and friends are requested to meet at Morris-Baker at 12:30 pm Friday to go in procession to the cemetery. Guests are also welcome to visit during other times at Mrs. Carver?s home.
