Tammy Renee Mitchell

Tammy R. Mitchell, 53 of Johnson City died Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Franklin Woods Community Hospital. She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of J. D. Mitchell and the late Janice Louise Aldridge Mitchell.

Tammy was a former teller for Mountain States Credit Union.

She attended Grace Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, her maternal grandparents, Wayne and Helen Aldridge; her paternal grandparents, Hayes and Viola Mitchell; and her great grandparents, Ernie and Bill Richards all preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory: her father, J. D. Mitchell and her uncles, Fay Mitchell and Henry Mitchell; several cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 5, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Morris-Baker Funeral Home in the Dogwood Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm under the direction of Curtis Hurt, Tim Broyles and Tim Roach. A committal service will be conducted on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Washington County Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those attending this service should assemble at the cemetery by 1:50 pm.
