Terry Ross Owenby

Terry Owenby, 65, of Johnson City was called to his eternal home on February 27, 2020.
Born on June 4, 1954, Terry made many sacrifices by serving his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Terry spent his final years as a resident at The Waters of Johnson City, with who he considered to be his chosen family. Terry was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life, and always seemed to have a smile on his face. It was evident he felt loved by all those around him who cared and supported him. Through his care by Amedisys Hospice and The Waters, he was surrounded by many smiling faces during his final days.

A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery Annex at 1:00 pm under the direction of Chaplain Karl Gasser. Military honors will be accorded by the Boone Dam VFW.
