Thomas Dee Chess

Thomas Dee Chess, 33, of Johnson City passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 at his home in Johnson City. He was a native of Washington County and the son of Thomas L. Chess and the late Norma Sue Fagan Chess. Thomas was of Baptist faith. He loved his fiancée Barb, his children and his special pot belly pig 'Hissy'?. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Survivors include: father, Thomas L. Chess of Johnson City, TN.; beloved fiancée of nine years, Barbara Morrell of Johnson City, TN.; sister, Brandy Chess of Johnson City, TN.; three children, Skyler Chess of Mt. City, TN., Tatum Chess of Johnson City, TN. and Dakota Chess of Johnson City, TN.; two step-children, Sabrina Widener of Elizabethton, TN. and Larry Widener of Elizabethton, TN.; step-grandchild, Troy Morton of Elizabethton, TN.; and niece, Bryonna Chess of Johnson City, TN.
