Trula Lee Dean Green

Trula Lee Dean Green, 83, of 477 Riverview Drive, Johnson City died Saturday, May 6, 2006 in the Asbury Place. Mrs. Green was a native of Watauga Flats and was a lifelong resident of Washington County, TN. She was a daughter of the late Wilson L. and Mary Gibson Sutphin. Mrs. Green was a homemaker and a member of the Watauga Christian Church and attended the Lynnwood Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband , Virgil Green; four brothers, Cecil Sutphin, Claude Sutphin, Norman Sutphin, And Roy Sutphin; four sisters, Ola Arnold, Edna Horton, Gladys Honeycutt and Ellen Godsey. Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Norman Edward and Judy Green of Johnson City; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda L. and Gene Honeycutt of Morristown, Brenda and Bobby Bailey of Johnson City; one sister; Beulah Godsey of Johnson City; eight grandchildren, Cris Green, Michelle Green, Kevin Green, Jonathan Bailey and Terry Bailey, all of Johnson City, Dallas Honeycutt, Yvonne Wheeler and Sherri Russell, all of Morristown ; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service for Trula Lee Dean Green will be conducted at 11:30 AM Tuesday, May 9, 2006 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Mr. Tony Duncan and Rev. Greg Lovelace, Jr. will officiate. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 11:20 AM for this service. The family will receive friends at Morris-Baker from 6 to 8 PM Monday. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Hospice facility of your choice. The family would like to thank the E.R. Staff and Adult Special Care Staff at North Side Hospital, the Asbury Place Nursing Staff, and the Johnson City Hospice Nursing Service for the wonderful care Mrs. Green received.
