Wayland Osborne, Sr.

Wayland 'Wade' William Osborne, Sr., Cash Hollow Road, died Sunday, January 1, 2006 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Osborne was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. He was a son of the late Robert and Viola Hale Osborne and was also preceded in death by one son, John Edward Osborne. Mr. Osborne was retired from Rinker Materials, the old American Limestone Company. Survivors include two sons, Wayland William Osborne, Jr., Telford and Lloyd Osborne, Johnson City; one daughter, Lisa Osborne, Jonesborough; four sisters, Irene Lawson, Neva Riddle, Loretta Williams and Gretta Blevins all of Johnson City; one brother, Tom Osborne, Johnson City; seven grandchildren, Anthony Osborne, Devin Osborne, Winston Osborne, Garret Osborne, Candice Johnson, Brittany Reed and Hannah Malone and four great grandchildren. A funeral service for Mr. Osborne will be conducted at 8 PM Tuesday, January 3. 2006 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Melvin Ferrell will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday at Washington County Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 AM to travel in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
