Weldon Lee Whtlock

Weldon Lee Whitlock, 81 of Johnson City passed away Monday (January 3, 2011) at the Lakebridge Health Care Center, Johnson City after an extended illness. Weldon was preceded in death by his parents, T. D. Whitlock and Pearl Shipley Whitlock. Brothers, Fred Whitlock and wife Dorothy, Kenneth Whitlock and wife Zaleen and brother Mack Whitlock He was retired from the United States Army after twenty years of service. Weldon was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his sister, Mary Haldine Whitlock, Johnson City, brother Kyle Whitlock and wife Carol, Massillion, Ohio sister in-law, Ethel Whitlock, Kingsport and many nieces and nephews. The graveside service will be conducted at 2 PM Friday, January 7, 2011 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery, Johnson City. Chaplain James Hughes will officiate. The Tennessee Military Funeral Honors Team will accord military rights. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 PM Friday
