Wilbur Dale Hunter

August 14, 1930 — February 11, 2011

W. Dale Hunter, 80, of Johnson City, died Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Warsaw, Missouri son of the late Oliver Jackson and Claudine Katherine Smith Hunter. Dale was a sales manager for commercial structure products. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge F & AM, former member of the Lions Club and had served as District Evangelism Director for the Church of God. He loved to meet with his friends for coffee each morning at McDonalds. Survivors include: his wife Marilyn Reed Hunter of the home; a son and daughter-in-law Kevin Dale and Kimberly Dianne Little Hunter of Kernersville, NC; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane Lynne Hunter and Gordon Les Greene of Johnson City; four grandchildren, Hannah and Sam Greene, Taylor and Payton Hunter; many, many friends. A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 15, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home, under the direction of Rev. C. Bryant Collins, Rev. Aaron Morgan and Rev. Charles Galliher. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to: the Johnson City Church of God, 1908 Indian Ridge Road, Johnson City, TN 37604.
