William Franklin Paul

William Franklin Paul, 49, of 128 Story Road, Gray, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Paul was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. He was a son of ODell Paul of Johnson City and the late Evelyn Wishon Paul. William worked as a heating and air specialist for Spears Services. He was a member of the Greater Tri-Cities Darting Association and was an avid dart thrower. He was a member of the 2004 Tennessee State Championship Dart Team. He was loved by all especially the Dart League. Mr. Paul had a special talent that he shared with everyone and patience that shown with his teaching of darts. His grandson Peyton Conner was the light of his life. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Kenneth Paul. Survivors include: his wife of 27 years, Sarah Jane 'Janey'? Paul of the home; two daughters: Ashley and Kelli Paul both of Gray; seven brothers, Charles Paul, Gary Paul, Bryan Paul, Darrell Bennett, Tim Paul, Teddy Paul and Travis Paul; four sisters, Robin Hughes, Rita Edwards, Laverne Potter and Teresa Brenanh; a grandson, Peyton Conner; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 4:30 PM in the Morning View Cemetery in Bluff City. Pastor Mike Abel will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Sunday at Morris-Baker prior to the service. The procession will then go to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Cliff Hoy, Tracy Rafalowski, Don Wiggins, Andrew Bennett, Bobby Hyatt and Foy Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be B. J. Bennett and Darrell Bennett.
