William Joseph Braly

William J. Braly, 53 , 127 Hawk Lane, Gray, TN died Thursday, March 30, 2006 at his residence after a lengthy illness. Mr. Braly was a native of Hampton and had lived in Johnson City for the past thirty three years. And was the son of the late John Howard and Virginia Rose Blevins Braly. Mr. Braly retired from Snap-On Tools due to disability in December 2005. Prior to that he was a supervisor at TPI for twenty-six years. Mr. Braly was a member of the First Baptist Church of Watauga, TN and was with the Tennessee National Guard for eight years. Survivors include: his wife, Cynthia Reppard Braly of the home; A daughter, Elise Braly of the home; a sister, Sandra Blanton of Denver, CO; a brother, John Braly, II of North Augusta, SC.; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service for William J. Braly will be conducted at 8 PM Monday, April 3, 2006 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Haskel Ingram will officiate. Music will be by Chet O?Keefe, a nephew, soloist. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 PM Monday, prior to the service.
