William K. Hyatt

William K. 'Bill'? Hyatt, 66, of Johnson City, passed away Monday, June 30, 2008 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Washington County and a son of the late, William Hyatt, Jr. and Viola H. Street Hyatt of Johnson City. Mr. Hyatt attended the Tacoma Church of God. Survivors in addition to his mother include;one son, William M. Hyatt and his wife, Dawn, Chuckey; two sisters, Linda Darnell of Johnson City and Sandy Whitaker and her husband, Jack of Jonesborough; two Grandchildren, April Fitzwater and her husband Jack of Kingsport and Ashley Hyatt of Chuckey; one Great Grandson, Casey Fitzwater of Kingsport; one niece and two great nieces. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 pm Wednesday from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Darrell Slovine will officiate. Burial services will be conducted at 10:00 am Thursday in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 9:30 am Thursday and proceed to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jack Whitaker, John Douglas, Ed Douglas, Kenny Douglas, Mike Street, Howard Jamerson and Shannon Brickey. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday.
