Agnes Aileen Clark

April 2, 1932 — May 19, 2005

Agnes 'Aileen' Clark, 73, formerly of 503 Wendover Road, died Thursday, May 19, 2005 at the home of her son at 3215 McKinley Road, Johnson City. A native and lifelong resident of Washington County, daughter of the late Ben Collins and Mrs. Mollie Shelton Collins. A retired employee of the Kingsport Press, she had been a plate maker, proofer and eletro type journalist in her years at the press from 1963 until retirement in 1996. She was of the Christian faith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Wayne Clark. Survivors include : her mother, Mollie Shelton Collins, Johnson City, four sons, Michael Ray Clark of Bennettsville, SC, Larry Steve Clark, Telford, Phillip Keith Clark and Tony R. Clark both of Johnson City, three sisters, Connie Crawford, Mildred Ingram and Mary Haren all of Johnson City, four grandchildren, Wendy Clark, Chris Clark, Mollie Adams and Stacey Clark, one great grandchild, Caleb Clark, several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, May 22, 2005 in the South Chapel of the Morris - Baker Funeral Home at 8:00 p.m. under the direction of Rev. Jim Chatman. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at eight. A committal service will be conducted on Monday, May 23, 2005 in the Washington County Memory Gardens, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home in order to go in procession at 10:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be: Shaun Adams, Larry Baker, Chris Clark, Bob Guinn, Freddie Hill, Jr. and Scottie Holtsclaw.
