Alice Marie Dalton

Alice Marie Dalton, 82, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Ivy Hall Nursing Home.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Phillip Mical Dalton, Sr; parents, Charlie and Mary Carver; in-laws, Oscar and Gladys Dalton; brothers, Robert “Buck” Carver and wife Volena and Sammy “Bobo” Carver; and sisters-in-law, Peggy Burch and husband Mike and Linda Parsons.

She is survived by her son, Phillip M. Dalton, Jr.; daughter, Amber Dalton Chambers and husband J.D. “Her Favorite”; grandsons, Tyler Chambers, Jacob Chambers and wife Hannah, Gage Chambers, and Seth Dalton; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Alianna, Amelia, Jasper, Emmett, Annabelle; brother-in-law, Claude Dalton and wife Gayle; sister-in-law, Elizabeth “Liz” Cox; special lifetime friend, Joyce Garrett; her beloved granddog, Remi Mae; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

The family of Alice Dalton will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A funeral will immediately follow under the direction of Rev. Kenneth Grindstaff. There will be a committal service at Mountain Home National Cemetery (Historic section) at 11:00 on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Those attending are asked to please meet at the cemetery gates by 10:50 am. 

Pallbearers include: J.D. Chambers, Tyler Chambers, Jacob Chambers, Gage Chambers, Seth Dalton, and Johnny McClellan.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Hen's Pub for their unwavering love and support, and to the staff at Ivy Hall for the compassionate care and kindness they showed throughout.
