Anthony John ?Tony' Tusa, 64, of Piney Flats, died Sunday, November 11, 2018 at his residence. He was a native of Brooklyn, NY son of the late Peter Anthony and Mariana DeCorse Tusa. Tony was a former factory employee in the manufacturing industry. He was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church. Tony loved working on old cars and spending time playing with his grandchildren, they considered him another big kid. Survivors include; his son, Peter and wife Ashley Hoilman of Kingsport; his daughter, Tonya Tusa of Myrtle Beach, SC; four brothers, Peter Anthony Tusa, Johnny Tusa, Joseph ?Joey' Tusa, Christopher Tusa all of NY; sisters, Catherine Tusa of NC and Pauline Tusa also of NC; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday at Trivette Cemetery in Piney Flats under the direction of Pastor Sidney Barkley at 3:00 PM. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those attending the service may assemble by 2:50 PM at the cemetery.
