It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of April Sue Campbell, who left us on April 21, 2026, in Johnson City, TN. Born on March 27, 1984, in Elizabethton, TN, April was a force to be reckoned with, a dedicated mother, a loving spouse, loving grandmother, and a hardworking person

April embraced life to the fullest, always surrounded by her family and friends. She was known for her vibrant spirit and her unwavering determination, especially in the face of illness. Her strength influenced everyone around her, and she inspired those who knew her to approach life with the same zest and courage.

April was known for her quick wit and straightforward love, always bringing warmth and honesty to those around her. She embraced life with an indomitable spirit, inspiring everyone with her strength, especially through her battles with illness. Her laughter and fierce love will be missed more than words can say.

April was preceded in death by her father Johnny Campbell; and like father Billy Ray Campbell

April leaves behind her beloved daughters, Danielle Campbell and Makayla & Ben Marshall; her son, Gauge Long; her husband, James Long; her devoted mother, Hazel Campbell; her brother, Joshua Campbell; her nephew, Johnny Noah Campbell; her grandson Jackson McKinney, and extended family, and close friends who became family. Each of them carries cherished memories of her laughter, strength, and love.

Funeral services will be held in the coming days, details of which will be announced soon. We invite all who knew and loved April to join us in celebrating her life and sharing fond memories of her radiant spirit. She loved every person that she knew.

April will be deeply missed but never forgotten. She taught us all that life is precious and it's the moments spent with loved ones that truly matter.
