Arthur Joe Holmes

Arthur Joe ?Bo' Holmes, 51, of Johnson City, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at his home. Bo was a Washington County native. He was a son of Walter Oliver Holmes and the late Mary Lee Vanover Holmes. Bo had worked as a security guard. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Holmes; sister, Linda Shell; and ?great' nephew, Joseph Glover. Besides his father, survivors include: two sisters, Sadie Meredith and Debbie Kilpatrick; two brothers, Rick Holmes and James Ross Holmes; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and numerous friends. The family of Bo Holmes will receive friends from 4:30 pm until 5:30 pm Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Morris-Baker Funeral Home. Family and friends will then proceed to Mt. Zion Cemetery for a 6 pm graveside service. Pallbearers will be: Rick Holmes, Shane Sherman, David Holmes, John Paul Holmes, Jesse Lane, and Greg Carlton.
