Beatrice Singleton Fink, age 73, of Telford, died Sunday, March 27, 2005, at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Pound, Virginia who had lived in the Johnson City area for forty-five years. She was a daughter of the late William and Pearl Sturgill Singleton. Mrs. Fink was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fink was preceded in death by: her husband, J.D. Fink, and eleven brothers and sisters. Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Larry Denton, of Telford, and Irma and Joe Holt, of Bristol, TN; two sons, Joe Shortt, of Telford, and Marvin Fink, of Jacksonville, NC; one brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Mary Singleton, Abingdon, VA; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A very special friend, Dan Kade, of Telford, also survives Mrs. Fink. The family of Mrs. Fink will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 12:45 PM Wednesday at Morris-Baker. Following the visitation, family and friends will proceed to Monte Vista Memorial Park for 1:00 PM graveside services. Rev. Bob Edmonds will officiate.
