Berdie K. Johnson

Mrs. Berdie Kathryn Johnson, 90, of 1706 W. Lakeview Drive, Johnson City passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Tiger, Georgia and was a daughter of the late Warren and Amanda Guinn Williams. In addition to her parents several brothers and sisters also preceded her in death. She was a Special Education van driver in the Johnson City School System and was a member of the Central Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Fred Johnson of the home; one son, Fred Johnson, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Johnson City; three daughters, Janet Barnes and her husband Rod of Greeneville, TN, Lois Deakins and her husband Lynn and Teresa Johnson both of Johnson City; one sister, Mildred Keller of Duluth, GA; four grandchildren, Robin Morelock and Haven Duffy, both of Greeneville,TN, Sara Barnes and Nicole Johnson, both of Johnson City; three great grandchildren, Hunter Morelock , Maggie Morelock and Kamryn Wykle, all of Greeneville,TN. The funeral service for Mrs. Berdie K. Johnson will be conducted at 2:30 PM Sunday in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. R. Willard 'Bill'? Warfield will officiate. A private graveside committal service for the family will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 PM prior to the service.
