Bettie J. Young

Bettie Jo Young, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at Franklin Woods Community Hospital.
Bettie was preceded in death by: her husband of 26 years, Quentin “Babe” K. Young; parents, David and Grace Honeycutt Hughes; and one brother, Billy Jack Hughes.
Survivors include: one daughter, Judy Y. Ward; two sisters, Lou Davis and Peggie Pettingill; one brother, Raymond Hughes; four nieces, Leslie Allen and her husband Robert, Connie King, Bethe Buckles and Becky McKnight; and one special friend, Kathy.
The family of Bettie Young will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM Sunday, December 15, 2019, at Morris-Baker. The graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Joe Searfoss officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:55 PM.
