Betty Ann Miller

Betty A. Miller, 76, of Johnson City died Tuesday, May 2, 2006 in the Select Specialty Hospital in Bristol, TN. Ms. Miller was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a daughter of the late Henry and Edna Smith Arnold. Ms. Miller was retired from housekeeping at Colonial Hills Nursing Home and had also worked as a crossing guard with the Johnson City School System. She attended the Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Ms. Miller is preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Faye Arnold and a brother, Lester Arnold. Survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Teresa and Wayne Jackson of Johnson City; Faye Deyton of Marion, N.C.; two sons, David Miller of Cleveland, Ohio, and Paul Miller of Jonesborough, TN; two sisters, Joyce Millsape of Loudon, KY and Beverly Chandler and husband Steve of Johnson City; nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nephews also survive. The funeral service for Betty A. Miller will be conducted at 8 PM , Thursday, May 4, 2006 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Paul Crowe and Mr. Terry Wright will officiate. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 AM Friday in the Roselawn Memorial Park. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 10:30 AM Friday to go in procession. Active pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, prior to the service.
