Betty Lolo Maletich

Betty Ehrman Maletich went home to be with her Lord on September 14,

2026. Betty was born in Kokomo, Indiana August 2, 1930.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Robert Theodore Maletich

on August 6, 2020.

Betty is survived by her three children and their families.

Michael Maletich (wife Rachel), Martin Maletich (wife Kristin) and Marcia

Bechtel (husband Bill), 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Betty was a longtime resident of Springfield, Illinois prior to her move to

Johnson City Tn. Betty was a devoted member of Covenant Presbyterian

Church in Johnson City and her circle group bible study. She was a

member of PEO for almost 50 years and currently Chapter AE of Johnson

City. Betty was a talented artist who spent her early years teaching Art at

the deaf school in Indiana and then as a devoted wife and mother to her

family. Betty enjoyed being part of the Abundant Christian Living Tower

family and loved art, music of all kinds, sewing (in her early years) reading

for book club, weekly five crowns card games and people. She

encouraged lifelong learning and had a intense curiosity about life. She

was a true friend and had the kindest and sweetest heart, sharing a kind

word and heartfelt hug or smile with all. Betty radiated God's love to

everyone she met and was a steady but unassuming presence in so many

lives, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She

will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her.

Services will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church 603 Sunset Drive,

Johnson City, Tenn 37604 on September 26, 2026, at 10 am with

reception to follow at the church.

Betty will be interred at the VA Mountain Home Cemetery with her beloved

Bob.
