Beverly Mae Pfaffe

Beverly Mae Pfaffe, 78, Johnson City, TN, died Sunday, September 20, 2009 at her residence with her family at her bedside. Mrs. Pfaffe was a native of Glenwood, MN and had lived in Johnson City since 2002. She was a daughter of the late Gustav and Hazel Foner Gehlhar and was also preceded in death by one brother, Bernie Gehlhar. Mrs. Pfaffe was retired from Prudential Insurance Company. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church. Mrs. Pfaffe is survived by her husband, Donald Pfaffe; three sons, Corey Pfaffe and his wife, Laurie, Watertown, WI, Greg Pfaffe and his wife, Susan, Sterling, AK and Jeff Pfaffe and his wife, Nancy, Marshall, MN; one daughter, Cheryl Bowers and her husband, Tim Bowers, Johnson City; one sister, Ethel Fiala, Glenwood, MN; one brother, Ervin Gelhar, Clarkfield, MN; fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Morris-Baker Funeral Home, Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A funeral service for Mrs. Pfaffe will follow at 7:00 pm under the direction of Reverend Larry Nees. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 am and travel in procession to the cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
