Bill D. Street

Bill D. Street, 69, of Lawrenceville, GA died Thursday, May 3, 3007 in the Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville. Mr. Street was a native of Johnson City and had lived in Georgia for many years. He was a son of the late Arthur Street, Sr. and Rena Hathaway Street. Mr. Street was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and worked at Life South in Gainesville, GA as a routeman and also worked with Mathis Dairy. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Street, Jr. Survivors include: his wife of forty-six years, Irene Davis Street of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Darlene Street and Clevon Travis Thomas of Lawrenceville, GA; a son Charles Lee Street of Lawrenceville; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry G. and Billie Jean Street of Litha Springs, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vivian Rollins of Atlanta, GA, JoAnn and Paul Hiatt of Orlando, FL. and Doris and Donald Jackson of Douglasville, GA; several nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service for Bill D. Street will be conducted at 12 Noon Wednesday, May 9, 2007 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Pastor Delbert Storie will officiate Interment will be in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the V.F.W. Post # 3382 and the Tennessee National Guard of Kingsport. The family will receive friends at Morris-Baker from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday.
