Bill Henry Hyden, age 75 of Gray, Tennessee passed away peacefully at home on July 30, 2026. He was born on February 28, 1951, to the late Alex and Ruby Hyden in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
Bill was a simple and kind man. He always cared for those around him, and he loved his wife "Jojo" He worked in Michigan for many years before returning to Kentucky where he started his career as a used car salesman. After retirement Bill and Jojo moved to Gray, Tennessee over 18 years ago.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Climer, brothers, Oscar and Lloyd Hyden.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 34 years, Stella "Jojo" Hyden, daughter, Donna (Matt) Bolton, grandsons, Henry and Joseph Bolton; brothers, John (Kim) Hyden of Michigan, Jim (Betty) Hyden of Monticello, Kentucky, sisters, Ella Hyden of Inez, Kentucky, Jenny (Anthony) Romain of Leatherwood, Kentucky, brothers, Jack Hyden of Pembrooke, Virginia, and Keith Hyden of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, very special niece, Shari Fannin of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, August 3, 2026, in the Dogwood Chapel of Morris-Baker Funeral Home at 12:30pm with Pastor Malcom Slone Officiating. A graveside service will take place in Happy Valley Memorial Park at 2:00pm. All attending are asked to meet there no later than 1:50pm.
