Blair Hunter White, age 81 of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away after a brief illness on June 7, 2026. He was born to the late Paul Byron and Frances McLaughen White on May 19, 1945 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Blair graduated from Brainerd High School class of '63. He attended The Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida and graduated from The University of Tennessee Chattanooga. He was very a proud board member of The Southern Highlands Craft Guild. He was a gifted artist particularly in metalsmith and jewelry making.
Survived by his brother, Patrick J. White, and sister, Katherine W. Hunt, niece, E. Blair (Kevin) Miller, nephew, J. Stefan (Jeniffer) Hunt, as well as several great-nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Blair will be laid to rest at Mountain Home National Cemetery with military honors. Details to be announced forthcoming.
