Blanche Kathryn Boy

Blanche Roland Boy, 96, of 155 Bright Ridge Drive, Gray, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the Lakebridge Healthcare Center. She was born in Forest City, North Carolina, daughter of the late, James Milton and Florence Kate Hall Roland. Blanche was a homemaker and member of the Boone Trail Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G. L. 'Fay'? Boy in 1981; three brothers and a sister. Survivors include: three daughters and two sons-in-law, Daris B. and Rev. Dale Martin of Radford, Virginia; Joyce and B.L. 'Dick'? Hamilton of Bristol; Betty Ann Boy of Gray; two sons and a daughter-in-law, J. W. Boy of Gray; George E. and Laura D. Boy of Johnson City; six grandchildren, Lisa Phipps, Lori Hamilton Dykes, Darlene Lane, George Robby Boy, Christopher E. Boy and Jonathan K. Boy; five great grandchildren, Cody Phipps, Anna Lane, Andrew Lane, Jacob Boy and Sophie Boy; two sisters, Mrs. Pereda Weaver of Elizabethton and Mrs. Ellen Romano of West Haven, Connecticut.A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, November 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of the Morris '' Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Dr. Paul Lane. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. A committal service will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be family members.
