Brandon Hicks

Brandon Allen Hicks, age 48 of Bluff City, Tennessee, passed away on August 14, 2025.

He was employed by Sullivan County EMA as a Rescue Tech/AEMT. He held numerous certifications from the State of Tennessee. Brandon was also a Licensed Drone Operator.

During his previous employment he was a flight coordinator for Wings Air Rescue, the City of Bristol Tennessee as a 911 dispatcher and the Fire Department.

He was a member of the following departments: Lifetime member of Bluff City Volunteer Fire Department (34 years of service), Bluff City Rescue Squad, and Kingsport Life Saving Crew.

Brandon served on the boards for both The Hickory Tree Volunteer Fire Department and South Holston Rescue Squad.

He is survived by his wife Sandie of 25 years, and his fur babies, Gabbie, Peachie, Millie, Cupcake, Precious, and Little Bit. He is greatly missed by all.
