Brenda Gail Bedwell

Brenda Bedwell, 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by the people she loved on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

Brenda was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Arlie Bedwell and Virginia Sims Bedwell, but spent most of her life in the Johnson City, Tennessee area.

To know her was to love her! She lit up a room every time she walked in it. She loved to crochet and her sweet teas. She made many blankets and scarves that she loved to give as gifts to people. She enjoyed being around friends and considered most of them her family.

Along with her parents, she was proceeded in death by a brother.

Those remaining to cherish her memory include: her sister, Mary K. Goins; many friends; and her beloved friend and caregiver Patsy Broyles.

A very special “thank you” to the Enhanced Support Services Mill Springs staff that cared for her for many years.

A celebration of life service will be held in Brenda’s honor at a later date.
